Do It Yourself Blackjack Table Plans

When is the last time you went to your buddy's house to play cards, only to find out you were playing on his kitchen table? If you are anything like me, this happens a lot. Why? Because getting a table for blackjack can be expensive, so most people don't want to spend the money. Instead, they just keep playing on the kitchen table.

I don't know about you, but I am not afraid to do a little work on a do it yourself project to get what my friends don't currently have. Building your own blackjack table really isn't all that difficult, especially if you have good plans or blueprints giving you step by step directions. If you have some of the needed tools, and enough experience in woodworking to know how to use your tools, you too can do it yourself and make your own blackjack table like me.

There are a few items you will need to play blackjack and to build your new table. For the table you will need a 6X3 foot piece of felt. You will need some condensed particle board, some cup holders, padding, and table legs. You will also need some screws and wood glue. There are a few other items, including step by step directions to help you build your table correctly, and a friend.

Once you have your blackjack table plans that give you step by step directions, you will have the complete list of tools and supplies you need to complete your DIY project. Be sure to follow all of the safety warnings when using your power tools, and remember the old woodworking adage, measure twice...cut once. After some work, you will have your new blackjack table. Guess what, now you can host the next get together and you can show off your new table. For once, you won't be playing on the kitchen table and who knows, maybe you will even inspire your friends to make their own game tables for hours of fun at their house.

Now, I am saving the best part for last. Depending on the rules you normally use, you could say that whoever is hosting the party gets to be dealer. If that is you, your odds of winning just increased dramatically. Why do you think it is you don't get to deal at the Casino? That's right; the dealer wins more often than the players. Anyhow, have fun making your new table for blackjack and enjoy the game.
